What is the Validity of the Fish Import License?
Ornamental or Aquarium fish Import license will be valid for 18 months from the date of issue.
How to renew the license?
Ornamental fish import license falls in the category of restricted import items and can not be renewed. You can only file for a new one. You can apply for a new license before the expiry of your existing one.
How many varieties of live ornamental fishes I can Import?
Officially you can import 92 varieties of Fishes which include Fresh water and saltwater fishes. Check the List here: This is the list issued by Ministry of Fisheries. You can either choose specific varieties out of these 92 or can go for all the 92 varieties to import.
Can I import fish outside the 92 varieties?
