AD Code, officially known as Authorized Dealer Code, is a 14-Digit number issued by bank. The primary function of AD code is to ensure that foreign currency transactions in an exporter’s account are from a legal channel.
For any Import and Export Business in India, AD Code Registration and IEC Registration are mandatory.
AD Code is registered through ICEGATE and required for generating Shipping Bill number, custom clearance and to received benefits from the Government.
